Project and task management: work, team and support together

Who's working on what, which job is running late, where did the customer's request end up? In the CoSuite Projects and tasks module you split work into stages, assign it to your team and close customer support tickets in the same place. Project budgets show whether a job is actually profitable.

Who uses it

Any team that works in projects: contractors, software companies, digital agencies, event organisers, consultancies. It's built for businesses that deliver work to a client and keep supporting them after delivery.

You don't need one tool for projects and another for support; both live in the same module.

Core capabilities

The module makes work visible, so you check the board instead of asking for status in meetings.

  • Kanban and stages: drag work across columns and watch progress.
  • Task assignment: set an owner and a date for every task.
  • Support tickets: log customer requests, assign them and close them.
  • Project budget: compare planned against actual.
  • Team permissions: decide with roles who sees which project.

Linked to quotes, finance and the inbox

An approved quote in Quotes and e-Invoicing is where a project starts, and its amount feeds the project budget. Tie costs recorded in Expenses, cash and bank to a project to see its profitability. The Reports module, included in every plan, provides project reports.

When a customer reports a problem on WhatsApp or by email, the message in the Unified inbox can become a support ticket, matched to their card in Customers. Agencies track SEOAsist and SocialAsist work in the same project structure.

An example flow

A contractor turns an approved quote into a project and splits it into survey, build and handover stages. The team follows tasks on the board, and the budget view shows material costs against plan. After handover, when the client reports an issue, a ticket is opened, assigned to the right people and closed once solved.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

See all questions →

Do I need a separate tool for support tickets?

No. Customer support tickets are part of the Projects and tasks module. You log them, assign them to the team and close them in the same place.

How is the project budget tracked?

You enter a planned budget for the project. Costs you link to it in Expenses, cash and bank are compared against that budget, so you spot overruns early.

Can my clients see the project?

Projects are your team's workspace, and roles decide who sees what. Communication with the client runs through the Unified inbox.

Can an agency manage projects for several clients?

Yes. Agencies open a separate CoSuite account for each client and manage them all from their own panel, switching between clients in one click.

How do I hand out tasks to the team?

Every task has an owner and a date. Tasks move between stages on the kanban board, so you can see who is holding what and what's running late. Roles limit who can see which project.
