Expenses, cash and bank: your cash flow on one screen

You want to know where the money goes every day, not at the end of the month. The CoSuite Expenses, cash and bank module brings expenses, payables, cash and bank accounts together. A cash-flow forecast shows the weeks ahead, and supplier and staff ledgers stay in order.

Why a dedicated finance module?

In small businesses, finances are usually split between a spreadsheet, a banking app and a cash book. That costs time and leads to surprises. This module brings the three together.

Restaurants, shops, manufacturers, contractors: any business with regular costs and suppliers benefits. Choose your sector and the matching expense categories come ready.

Key capabilities

It goes beyond bookkeeping and helps you make decisions.

  • Cash-flow forecast: see how your balance will move with upcoming payments and receipts.
  • Supplier ledger: what you owe whom, and when it's due.
  • Staff ledger: advances and payments per employee.
  • Cash and bank accounts: each balance and its movements kept separately.
  • Reconciliation: compare your records with account movements and catch differences.

Linked to quotes, invoices and projects

Payments on invoices issued in Quotes and e-Invoicing feed your cash flow, so you don't type expected income twice. Compare costs with the project budget in Projects and tasks to see which jobs are profitable.

Reports are included in every plan, and profitability and cash-flow reports are built from this module's data. Salaries and balances sit behind their own permissions: your accountant sees everything, your sales team only sees its own work.

Your weekly routine

At the start of the week you check the cash-flow screen: which payment is coming up, which receipt is late. You file incoming expense bills by category and update supplier balances. At month end you reconcile against bank movements and close the cash difference, then export what your accountant needs.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

See all questions →

Does this replace my accounting software?

This module covers day-to-day finance: expenses, ledgers, cash flow and reconciliation. Your accountant still handles statutory books and filings, and you can export the data they need.

How is the cash-flow forecast calculated?

From your recorded expenses, supplier payables and expected payments on invoices. As the data changes, the forecast updates on its own.

Can my staff see salaries and balances?

Only if you allow it. Seeing salaries and seeing balances are separate permissions; use a ready-made role or set permissions per person.

Do I have to create expense categories myself?

When you choose your sector, suitable expense categories come ready. You can change them or add your own.

Can I track several bank accounts separately?

Yes. Every cash and bank account keeps its own balance and movements. The cash-flow forecast looks at all accounts together, while reconciliation is done account by account.
